The ugly truth about domain registration
Domain names are not connected to your hosting and can be pointed to any page on the Internet at any time. Domain name registration cost less than ten dollars per year. The price includes domain forwarding and a control panel that allows you to configure your domain in a few seconds to host your with any provider of your choice and move it again just as easily if you decide to switch to another host.

There is no extra service received if you pay more for your domain. So keep your domain price low. All registrars pay the same price and use the same system.

What about Premium Domain Names?
Not worth the money most of the time. Unless we are talking about a domain that is a generic word applicable to your product or service such as toys.com, e-commercesolution.org or dvd-player.net then you have very little to gain from a catchy sounding domain name and there are so many permutations available that you can always get something close to what you are looking for.
